oh wells. had a birthday celebration with my dear and gang. jeez. she basially planned a surprise party for me. and she got me a full cheese-cake! i was just telling her that i wldnt possibly have my fav cheescake as a birthday cake cause it would be too gerlark and urh unconventional. my ger is so lovely! :D:D
i was jolted awake from the dreary tiredness that enveloped me the whole sunday. i even nearly managed to fall asleep with the blazing hot sun staring right into my eyes while i made my students swim laps. shake head. no more birthday celebration for one week. it's a huge energy drainer.
but i actually met up with long-time fwns whom i haven seen for years? haha. nad they remembered my birthday! so sweet. beams. a special reunion on a special occasion. cool.. hehe.
oh wells. voting is over. and i totally converted from a PAP supporter to a WP supporter. alritealrite. im not defaming any party or anyone here yar! this is just my insignificant blog which allows me to grumble fumble.. nods.
okieokie.. let me see. with all the rallies flying abt and discussions going on, i've read and discovered quite a fair bit of the political arena that gives me reasons enuf to form some sorta impression of the oppositions and PAP.
i've always thought PAP to be THE political party that would keep Singapore a safe and economically secure and techonologically advanced country. i've always boycot the oppositions as jealous parties which like to create trouble and discontent among the people. esp after the "muah CHEE" espisode. but i've realized.. im not quite right after all.

Why is the PAP not benchmarking itself politcally against the matured Democracies around the world?
Our Secretary General, Mr Low Thia Khiang, has fired a shot at the PAP for not benchmarking itself politically against the matured Democracies around the world although ministers' salaries are benchmarked against international corporates' standards! He also added that WP is prepared to debate with the PAP 'LIVE' on TV on policies.
In response to questions from reporters on the PAP's manifesto, the four young guns that WP introduced yesterday commented on its depth and scope or rather the lack of it:
"Where is the beef?"
PAP's manifesto is too general. Despite the bold words and beautiful pictures, PAP's manifesto does not give SPECIFICS into how their bold words could materialized.
On the other hand, WP's manifesto offers more specific suggestions.
PAP with its vast resources should do better than that.
i mean seriously. PAP really does have a lot of resources. it's really not fair how they have such a huge edge over the other parties. i mean its true. they made Singapore Literally. but they've also been such an autocratic sound government too! they are good and speak and carry themselves well. but why are their pay three times more than Tony Blair and even George Bush! why are PAP GRCs given first priority when it comes to upgrading? shldnt all areas be given the same treatment. after all, they are our goverment.
and our CPFs funds, the government have invested heavily overseas. some major projects not making any headway or so it seems? the china project according to some sources, is making losses.
alrite! im just mumbling to myself. all these are simply hearsay. do not believe it yar! im just crapping in my mensus mood. oh wells. HMM.
